Saiful Mallock is a mountain lake located on the northern tip of the Kaghan Valley near the town of Naran in the Seafloor National Park. The lake is a source of river canyons. At 3,224 meters (10,578 feet) above sea level, the lake is above the tree line and is one of the highest lakes in Pakistan.
Saifalulok is located in Mansehra District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, about 9 km (5.6 miles) north of Naran in the northern part of the Kaghan Valley. Malika Parbat, the highest peak in the valley, is near the lake.
In summer, the lake is accessible from the nearby town of Naran but during winter the access is limited.
The Seafloor Glacier Glacier was formed due to the moraines that stopped the flow of the river through the valley. The Cagayan Valley has formed some 300,000,000 years ago in the wider Pleistocene period when the area was covered with snow. Rising temperatures and falling glaciers left a major depression where glaciers once stood. The melting water accumulates in the lake.
